- Indicate Priority Handling, supply credit card payment over the phone*, and ASA will process your request as soon as possible.
- ASA’s goal for Priority Handling is same day turn-around if received prior to 12:00 pm MST.
- Be sure to indicate whether the certificates are to be FedEx’d (see rates below).
Q: Does ASA Offer FedEx?
A: Yes
In order to receive certificates via FedEx delivery, you may contact ASA after completion of an online entry prior to 2:00 pm Mountain Time, confirm destination address (only physical address…PO Box addresses are not acceptable), supplying credit card payment over the phone*.
*Note: ASA can not accept credit card payment via email or fax

Q: When do I have to complete DNA testing?
A: All purchased Embryo calves need DNA Parent Verification, All AI sires and Donor Dams need GGP-HD (High Density or 80K), Any animals on Genetic hold (If animal is a single birth, hold is coming from sire, If animal is an ET, hold can be from sire, dam, or both. Q: Can I register and transfer an animal in the same job?
A:Yes: complete the registration application, and then look at the tabs at the top of the page and find “Transfer”. Click “Transfer” . On the same row as the animal fill in the account number for the buyer (which should then auto-fill the buyers information), sale date, and if you want the certificate mailed to the Seller (S) or Buyer (B). If the animal is a cow we also need to know if she was sold open or bred. If bred we need to know the registration number of the bull, and the pasture dates or AI date.
Q: Can I register more than one animal in the same job?
A: Yes: after completing all of the information for one animal, move back to the left side of the page, go down one row, and start over again with the new animals information.
Q: How do I find the registration number after registering an animal?
A:Go to “Animal Search” and search by the Dam’s registration number and look at “progeny report”

Q: When will I receive a certificate?
A: Certificates are typically mailed out 3-5 business days after the job has been completed. Certificates that have genetic holds, and certificates that are to be returned to the seller are typically mailed out 5-7 days after the job has been completed.
